Chaos is coming to Nottingham Playhouse

This month our Young Company will perform their National Theatre Connections show Chaos at the Nottingham Playhouse!

The show will take place on Saturday 27 April and tickets are available now.

It follows our home performance of the play, which took place on Saturday 16 March at the Bonington Theatre.

Our 15 actors performed the show, written by local playwright Laura Lomas, in front of a supportive audience including a representative from Nottingham Playhouse and the appointed NT Director, Nathan Crossan-Smith.

He watched the play, spoke to the Company and wrote a report with ideas to support the development of the play as it transfers to Nottingham Playhouse.

He said: "I felt that this production had real heart and life borne out of investment to character and story by the whole company.

"I think that this production is full of passion, honesty and imagination and that the company are in a good position for sharpening and refining for the Partner Festival at Nottingham Playhouse.

"I felt that the choices you made were bold, ambitious and really reached to the heart of the sensation of chaos in the play."

Both Senior Youth Theatre groups also performed at the Bonington with us.

They showed their devised pieces from the Toolbox project which were well received too.

Unlimited Theatre from West Bridgford performed on the night as well with their NT Connections play Terra/Earth by Nell Leyshorn.
