New sessions start with a bang!

Our two new sessions, Positive Moves and LAMDA, started last month and we welcomed new members to these groups.

Positive Moves

Positive Moves is our new Youth Dance group primarily for young people with additional needs on Tuesdays from 5.00 - 6.00.

We have had 15 lovely young people trying FREE taster sessions or joining the group and becoming part of this exciting new venture.

There are still a few places left in this group, please contact Carrie for availability - carrie@flying-high.org.uk

LAMDA Advanced Acting

LAMDA is an advanced acting group which also delivers tuition towards taking examination Grades 1 - 8 in Acting on Wednesdays 6.00 - 9.00 in two age groups (School Years 5 - 8 / School Years 9+).

These sessions give people the chance to act - whether that be acting again after a break, learning it as a whole new craft or trying to make it their career.

We had two brilliant taster workshops with both groups who learned so much about acting in the short time we had.

The sessions involve more individual tuition than other Flying High groups, so we can look at acting skills rather than group performances. That way, each individual really benefits and pushes themselves.

The younger group had 10 new members joining, while the older age group benefited from a broad range of experience as two members of the Theatre Royal 55+ group, also taught by Carrie, came and joined.

It really is open to all ages and abilities.

There are still a few places left in this group too so, as before, please contact Carrie for availability - carrie@flying-high.org.uk

We look forward to welcoming new and existing members to these groups as they continue to grow!
