See Beauty and the Beast and Dear Lucy in Nottingham
Listed Under: News
You can see our two Edinburgh Fringe shows, Beauty and the Beast and Dear Lucy, in Nottingham before we take them up to the festival in August.
These shows will be the first chance to see the work created for this year's Fringe, the biggest arts festival in the world, before we head up to perform them to the public.
The shows are...
Beauty and the Beast:
Saturday 14 & Sunday 15 July - Summer Showcase, Bonington Theatre (various times)
Tuesday 31 July - Scout Hut, Oxclose Lane, 5pm and 7pm
Sunday 29 July - Nonsuch Studios, 8pm
Friday 31 August - Bonington Theatre, 8pm
We will be announcing ways to get tickets and entry very soon so keep an eye out across all the usual channels!
How to get to the Scout Hut:
The children's classic Beauty and the Beast is already proving popular, with more than 200 tickets having been sold for the Edinburgh shows already. Some performances are over halfway to being sold out too!
We hope this is a sign that we can push on and hit the same heights as last year when we were awarded a Sell Out Show Laurel (left) for Aladdin.
Dear Lucy is our professional theatre piece being created as part of the 'Then and Now' project.
It is based on discovered letters which were written during the First World War and focusses on how lives changed for people in the aftermath of the war.
More details about each show will be given in the coming weeks so keep an eye out!
