What is a CIC?

You might have seen these three little letters popping up everywhere lately. They have been appearing on our logos, social media and just about anywhere else we can fit them.

That is because they stand for Community Interest Company and we at Flying High Expressive Arts are very proud to have recently become one.

What that means is that we are now a not-for-profit organisation. Any money we make from now on will be put back into the community to service it and make it a better place.

This will go towards aims like encouraging activities in the expressive arts and, alongside our partners Gedling Borough Council and Inspire: Culture, Learning and Libraries, we will think of many more useful ways that this money can be spent to help you in the local area.

Whatever happens, the future looks bright!
